Andrew Elkins discusses the work of Richard Hugo, Adrian Louis, John
Haines, and Jane Hirshfield. Another scholarly book with a lengthy chapter
on Louis is of Defining American Indian Literature by Robert
Berner (Edwin Mellen Press 1999).
